Drawing outside

Come and draw in the open spaces of the new arboretum in Buckminster draw , sketch , paint in the glorious hills surrounding the village .
I will provide very basic drawings materials and a short demo , the idea is for you to explore the beautiful maintained grassland and find a view that you would like to capture over the site . The views spread over rolling farmland towards the vale of belvoir . The path sweeps through the fields down the hill and back up again on the other side passing a wildlife pond and bench in the vallley . So you could chores to draw the expansive views or sit quietly by the pond .
The plan is this we will meet in the village hall first then go to the arboretum ( very short walk less than 5 mins ) where I will distribute the kit and do a short demo . You can then find your spot ! I will meander about on hand if you need me .
Things I recommend , look at the weather bring a coat or a sun hat and a camping chair . A flask of drink and if there is materials that you’d really like to use you are very welcome to bring them too. There is a car park at the village hall . And the toilets are there also.
