Ben is a painter and printmaker working from his home studio on the edge of Northampton, where the countryside setting informs much of his creative inspiration.
After earning a Degree in Fine Art, Ben’s journey toward establishing a consistent artistic practice has been gradual but deeply rooted. Even during quieter periods away from the canvas or gallery, he has remained creatively engaged—using sketchbooks as a space for reflection, problem-solving, and processing the world through drawing.
His recent work explores themes of landscape and the natural world, blending acrylic and mixed media with a spirit of experimentation. Ben thrives on discovering new techniques and approaches, seeking to balance textures and variations in mark making to form interesting compositions.
He also creates small editions of relief prints using traditional lino and water-based inks, embracing the tactile, meditative quality of the printmaking process.
Ben has presented his art in multiple group exhibitions and his work has found new homes right across the UK.
