I draw inspiration from the vibrant colors and organic forms found in nature, which are often reflected in my work. My primary medium is glass, and I specialise in traditional stained glass techniques. Alongside Claire Hart, I teach these time-honored skills at Ely Cathedral and in our respective studios near Stamford, Lincolnshire.
Currently, I’m expanding my stained glass creations by incorporating painting, adding a personal and modern touch to this ancient art form.
I’m also passionate about the alchemy of fused glass, embracing its unpredictable nature to craft unique, kiln-fired pieces. Each piece is then shaped, re-fired, and set into bespoke designs that I create using silver and brass, sometimes with the addition of semi-precious stones and found objects, creating distinctive, one-of-a-kind works of art.
