After a 40-year absence of drawing, lock-down in 2020 was the driver for me to pick up a pencil again! Completing various on-line courses reminded me of how much I like drawing in detail and over the past few years I have been commissioned to draw various pets for my friends and family. I have been experimenting with different types of mediums - acrylic, watercolour, pastels, inks etc but pencil drawing remains my favourite. Portrait drawings is something I also enjoy and currently I am drawing various F1 drivers (my family and I are F1 fans!). I have taken part in a couple of local exhibitions and have my prints in a local trader shop where I have successfully sold a number of prints and originals.
I am married to Nigel and we have 23 year old twin boys. We both love walking with friends and have completed several long distance walks in the UK. Cooking and eating cake is also a hobby of mine!
Being part of an art community is the key reason why I joined NROS. I look forward to finding out more!
