I have always enjoyed drawing, even when being sent to my room as a child as long as I had pencil and paper I was happy!
After leaving college with an A level in art, a HNC Foundation in art and design and a Diploma in Graphic Design my first role was at a stationery and print company. This is where my love of print began, from screen printing T-Shirts to shop display and signage to letterpress, litho and digital print.
I loved creating anything on paper, I have never really stopped drawing even when I moved from the print studio to sales and print management. Now with grown up children I find I have more time on my hands and have rekindled my love of drawing, especially portraits. In charcoal an image can look abstract at 6 inches but incredible at 6 feet! I have enjoyed seeing the emotions pictures of family members, cherished items and loved ones can give.
