A professional nurse for many years and working in a stressful environment at times I found using my creative side helped me switch off from work.
A few years ago I discovered cyanotype or blue print where light sensitive chemicals are applied to paper or fabric. Botanical or photograms applied on top and then exposed in the sun or a UV lamp creates an image of the medium used.
Different techniques with wet paper and added ingredients then produce a different effect and where experimentation produces a different effect each time.
