Kat Lendacka

Hello. I am a linocut printmaker (also a graphic designer and an illustrator). I was born in a small beautiful old town Litomerice, in the Czech Republic. After a false start studying Science in Prague, I somehow found myself at Northampton University studying Graphic Design and Illustration. My home is now rural Northamptonshire, where I live with my little family and the loveliest whippet, Spot. My work mainly features nature and wildlife but is also influenced by nostalgia for my first home country, its folklore, storytelling and incredible architecture. I hand burnish or use a roller press.
