<p>Enamel is glass which has been coloured by metal oxides, and enamelling is the ancient craft of making a design by applying different coloured powders and fusing them to a metal surface.</p>
<p>Over many years I have developed my own designs, cut from copper sheet, to make unique jewellery and small plaques, each piece being individually fired in a small kiln to a temperature around 780 degrees C., building up multiple layers over several firings.</p>
<p>My inspiration comes from the natural world of flora and fauna, and a love of colour and design.</p>
