Val Goldfinch has lived in Towcester, South Northants, for 40 years and studied Graphic Design at Nene College in the 1980s. Her love of painting and design is as strong as ever and her work is published internationally, she also creates personal and commercial commissions in a variety of subjects. Her illustrative work is often highly detailed with compositions including multiple images, but she also experiments with works with on wood and slate and adding collage.
Val is a founder member of South Northants Arts and has regularly exhibited as part of the South Northants Art Trail. She is becoming well known as an artist/designer, with her recognisable Alphabet series of jigsaws for Gibsons Games. Recent commissions include RNLI, ZSEZ and appropriately RSPB.
