I'm a part time self-taught artist living in Corby Northamptonshire specialising in portraits & pet portraits using graphite, charcoal & pastels.
After a long break, in the winter of 2017 I was encouraged to start drawing again to help me relax, initially I started drawing on an iPad with a stylus then decided to get my pencils back out. I entered the 2018 Summer Exhibition show at The Rooftop Art Gallery in Corby where I won the People's choice award. My prize was my first solo exhibition at The Rooftop Arts Gallery the following year. This boosted my confidence & I started taking commissions.
My long-term goal is to do this full time when I retire from my day job in 2026.
