I initially trained as a Sculpture Conservator working on classical and modern stone sculpture in public and private collections from around the UK. Working on projects at the British Museum London, V&A Museum, English Heritage, National Trust and private clients.
Teacher training: Warwick University (Cert Ed) Northampton College and associate lecturing posts at Leicester University RAC, Stamford College (BA Fine Art) continued from 1994/2006.
My work explores form and fundamentals elements of symmetry and proportion. The sculpture finds itself, in a state of flux, static yet in motion. Experimenting with positive and negative mass (space and solid) is part of the process. Sculpture in bronze, stone and steel. Paintings in acrylic, oil and mixed media.
