Chris Richbell

I paint mainly in acrylic or watercolour, and sometimes with mixed media. I prefer to paint outside whatever the weather which can bring a whole new meaning to watercolour!

Teaching has been a huge part of my life, and I have taught Art at a number of schools locally including Wrenn and Wellingborough, and currently do occasional workshops for Yardley Arts.

I have won prizes locally and nationally with two main awards from the Royal Watercolour Society in their 21st Century Open Exhibition. I have also exhibited with the New English Art Club at the Mall Galleries London, at the Bankside Gallery London and have had work accepted by the Royal Academy. Locally I have exhibited with the Beeby Gallery, Alfred East Gallery Kettering and the Guildhall Northampton.

I am a member of Northampton Town and County Art Society and serve on their Council.

My passion is light and the changing seasons.
